Only in Dade: Miami's Breaking News
Every city has its own crowdsourced 'news station' these days, whether it be @WhatisNewYork for New York City, or @OnlyinDade for the Miami-Dade county area. What I'm trying to say is, I made the biggest internet news channel in South Florida!
Only in Dade as of time of writing has 1.6 million followers, with breaking news stories shared from across the county every single day. Lately I have had the honor and privilege of being featured on their account at least 3 known times! While I have always been courted by the street style types (see NYLON's NYFW street style coverage, the February cover of WAIF, Thread Report, and others), this is my first major social media blitz with Instagram viewers in the millions!
Ever since my humble beginnings in modeling club at Design and Architecture Senior High, I have been preparing for my runway moment. That time has finally arrived! The streets of South Beach have become the fashion showcase for the absolute latest in gadgets, Apple Vision Pro, worn by yours truly!
Catching the Paparazzi's Eye
While my first feature in @OnlyinDade happened on a lunch break by pure accident, since then I cannot help but plot for my next media blitz. I am strategizing to flesh out my unnamed character in future media features... Drama, intrigue, and gossip surely abound. Who knows what exciting events will unfold next....
Although I am certainly used to being an East Coast Parasocialite by now, with all this newfound recognition my online presence has taken on a new vigor. Now the bottom half of my face and long flowing locks are recognized in clubs, thrift shops, and grocery stores across the Miami area. This time I am keeping a good head on my shoulders and planning accordingly. With great serve comes great slay-sponsibility!
