Introducing… the Brutalmobile

Brutal makes it BIG

When my longtime client Brutal Ceilings contacted me to design their first sponsored race car, I knew I had to deliver. Drawing inspiration from classic muscle car designs, the golden age of racing, and the Brutal brand itself, I put together a new car concept in under a week's time, saving my client tons of hassle. The wrap is designed for a driver in a Mazda Miata racing league in south Miami-Dade county.

Conditions for the car design included use of the established brand colors and typefaces, as well as featuring their iconic tile designs and packaging graphics. This car had to be the rolling embodiment of the brand proposition, and I believe the result accomplishes this elegantly.

Inspiration Delivered

The custom hood graphic is a playful take on Brutal's infamous box design. Making their iconic ceiling tile packaging into a fast, clean, and exciting motor vehicle is a great look for the Brutal brand, highlighting their product's quick modern transformation for business and personal spaces.

When designing a car wrap for a brand, it is of utmost importance to convey the brand in fractions of a second. With the Brutalmobile, the clean lines and sanitary modern look of the product are evident instantly, while still being fun and sporty.

Discovery from every angle

Every side of the Brutalmobile delivers brand visibility. Where this car stands out is in its brightness and geometry, much like the Brutal ceiling tile products themselves.

As the Brutal brand grows, it is amazing to see all the permutations that come about. From logo to brand colors, web design to Amazon storefront, packaging to now race cars, the Brutal brand is proving to be quite versatile.

I am so excited to see where this brand goes next! The company has come a long way since I sketched its first logo back in 2020. Who knows what's coming soon with Brutal!
